NEW PRIMS FROM THE USA...

My box of Prims arrived from Elaine...

The Cubby Shelf is just superb and I love it!

I've posted a few pictures of it...

 

 

 

I added a couple of little Dollies...

 

 

 

In with the Cubby Shelf were the black Spice Tins, The two Apple Seed Tins with blue Fabric on and the Cream Spice Tins with green Lids...

I love the Crock with the flowers in...they are silk ones, but look so real...

I also got my Katie Bear today. She came from ebay...

She's just absolutely adorable and I love her to bits...

 

 

She came with the clothes on and they suit her perfectly!

 

 

 

I'm getting some more Bears from my dear friend Mary...

She is selling 4 of them...I'm buying 3 and Terry, Dan and Zoé are getting me one for my birthday!

Christmas Ellyfont...he will be the birthday one...

Oh, I've also got Elizabeth Bear coming tomorrow...she was an ebay orphan too!

She will need some clothes...we can't have a little girl Bear naked now, can we?!

 

 

 

 

I've been on nights at work and have just recovered today...I've been looking round the house and decided that it needs a good tidy up...I'm off to do some chores now!

The sun is out and it's a beautiful day, so all the windows and doors are open...Spring at last!!

WHERE IS SPRING?!!!

Well, we're STILL waiting for Spring to arrive...it's the middle of April and nothing, except cold, wet and more cold!!

Oh, well...maybe tomorrow...

 

I thought I would add a bit of Spring Cheer...from Elaine, yet again!!

 

 

 

 

This is from Elaine...it had a Lettuce Seed label on it, but as I already had a smaller one the same, Elaine sent me a couple of labels to choose from...

I chose this one...

Well, what do you think of this little baby then?!

An old blue Cubby Shelf, which is in transit as I type! Isn't it just adorable?!

I LOVE IT!!!

And it's from Elaine, of course! It was an arm and a leg to ship, but Elaine put some smaller pieces I've bought in with it, so it wasn't too bad!

I can't wait to get it now!!

 

I'll post pictures of all my goodies when the box arrives...

MR BUNNY ARRIVES IN ENGLAND...

I have just taken delivery of a VERY SPECIAL parcel, all the way from America...

I am now the very proud owner of a Sue Corlett piece!!

If you have never seen Sue's work, you don't know what you're missing!

Check it out at 1897houseprimitives...you'll love them, her Old Time Santas are just to die for!

Nose Surgery!!

Dolly Bear...or is she Polly Bear...said she wanted her nose to stand out more like Polly's...or is it Dolly's?!

Anyhow, I stitched her a new nose in some darker thread and she was so made up with it, she wanted to show you all...

Is it me or does she look like she's smiling now?!

 

 

Well, the sun didn't come out all day after it's short burst this morning...still, all good things are worth waiting for!

BEARY NICE...

I won these two Bears on ebay a couple of weeks ago...

They arrived yesterday and I just absolutely LOVE them!

Their tag names are Polly & Dolly!

I weighted their bums with rice, as they were pretty light...

Then found the two Dresses in a local Charity Shop!

The Teensy Eggs in Pans came from Elaine and they arrived on Tuesday...

Polly & Dolly liked them and said they were cute!

 

 

 

 

I took woodwool out of the Bears and put it in the bottom of my Egg Trug...

I think there are enough Eggs in there for now..!!

 

 

Well, the sun was out this morning and then promptly covered by a huge cloud...so I guess that's it for today! The sun's not quite hot enough to burn off the clouds, so a grey day for us!

Still, Spring IS on the way!
